News, News & More Good News!

I love it when a plan comes together!  We moved last weekend- and it was as fun as I thought it would be.  But- we have a good team- and we were all moved by Monday!  Getting internet service hooked up, and fine-tuned to our needs took a little longer than expected- but it's finally in place.

We now have a studio that's actually a little bit bigger than my house- it's been freshly painted, and thoroughly scrubbed, and is now a place that I really look forward to going to every day!  It was touch and go for a while- but it's really come together beautifully.  I'll post some pictures of the party very soon.  It was a smashing success- and I think we all had a lot of fun.  If you're ever in upstate New York- swing by- we have lots of champagne that we need help drinking!

On top of the move and MOAC- we're designing a new site.  It's nearly ready to go- I'm putting the finishing touches on it today.  After my husband gets home we'll have to take the current site offline for a little while so that we can migrate the customer data, and it should be a fairly seamless transition.  I'm not so naive to think that it will be completely seamless- so if you see anything that looks weird email me.  I'll be checking the emails at the address sncontests@gmail.com for the next few days (I don't want to publish the other address online...it would get a ton of spam, and I already delete too many of them as it is).

The new site is awesome!  It has a lot of very cool features, and we hired a designer this time, so I think it looks a lot cleaner and more professional.

One of the cooler features is that it has a points and rewards program- so frequent customers can get a discount.  It works a little bit like one of those coffee clubs- if you spend $100 you get a $5 gift certificate!  There's also a wishlist function- so you can pick out the things you're daydreaming about, and then email that list to friends.

When the new site goes live it will also have the first round of MOAC colors.  

My biggest fear with the company is being so busy that things fall through the cracks- or that we get so busy that we start shipping slow, or giving bad customer service.  I know that I can't keep 2000 women happy with their looks all the time- but I can at least give you a good shopping experience- so we're releasing MOAC in waves.  This week is Berry Week- we're releasing 8 new blushes, 5 new eye shadows, 4 lippies, and a few new brushes.  Then we'll introduce new products and new colors as quickly as we can until I run out of ideas (which will be a while).

One more announcement- we're going to be closed on Friday so that we can attend a trade show in New York City.  The past few weeks have been completely crazy- and we need to get out of town for a few days to enjoy a little R&R and makeup of course!  I won't really be near email much- but the forum will be open, so you can ask product type questions.  For any other questions just contact me through the site, and I'll answer ASAP on Monday.

The new site should be online either very late tonight- or early tomorrow morning!  It's finally here!  I can't wait for you to see it!
